Terms & Conditions
All of our classes are taught by Certified ServSafe® Instructors & Registered Examination Proctors.

We reserve the right to cancel a class up to 5 days before the class start date, at which time students will be notified to reschedule at no charge or be refunded 100% of registration minus the cost for study material and shipping.

Prices and policies changes will be posted with posted notification of change and effective dates on our website.

Attendee Responsibility:
All of our classes will start on time (8:30am) and students are required to be on time. EVEN if you closed the night before….

All students must have a picture ID (driver's license, military ID, or student ID) to be admitted into the class.
*The name on the ID must match the name on the registration form*

All students must cooperate with the instructor and the staff of the facility or be subject to dismissal without refund.

No electronic devices are allowed in the testing room. Any student who attempts to violate the integrity of the test or facility will be subject to dismissal and prosecution.

If a student purchases a ServSafe Essentials
â book, they are encouraged to take notes and use the book to follow the class discussion. Handouts, practice tests and study guides are the property of the STUDENT or student’s employer and may be taken with them at the end of class.

Dress Code:
Casual business attire should at all times be compatible with the atmosphere of a professional kitchen, office, or hospitality operation. While you may have just closed your hospitality operations shift the night before, we ask you to not come to the class looking (and smelling) like last nights closing.

Payment:
All payments must be made at the time of registration. If a student is paying by check, the check and registration form must be received 10 days before class. If the check is dishonored for any reason, the student agrees to pay all fees involved in the recovery of the funds. Payment mailing address:

are taken by visiting our website or calling 412-719-4793. We use a secure site and will give you a confirmation number

 


Refund/Reschedule:
No refunds! If a student is unable to attend their registered class, they must provide a 48 hour notice by speaking to our receptionist or leaving a voicemail (800-653-8575) to reschedule.

Passing
:
A 75 is the required score to pass. If a student does not pass the examine they can contact our office to enroll and pay for another class.
